There are a few products that I have been using for a few months now that have earned Holy Grail status.

I am really picky with my foundation because I like something that gives me full coverage but that it doesn’t look too heavy. Up until recently, MAC Studio Fix Fluid was my go to liquid foundation. I know that it breaks a lot of people out but it didn't break me out. But now, NARS Sheer Glow foundation has replaced MAC as my holy grail foundation. I get such great coverage from it and don’t need to use a lot of product. This foundation simply melts onto the skin and doesn’t look like you are wearing any foundation yet it does cover those imperfections you may have. It is a bit pricey ($42) and it doesn’t come with a pump but I can live with that since the product works great. For reference, I am an NC35 in MAC SFF and in NARS I use Barcelona.
Next is a shampoo from Lush called Big. I was sort of weary of it at first due to it’s texture but after reading so many positive reviews, I decided to give it a try. Oh Em Gee… my hair has never looked and felt as healthy as it does right now that. And the volume I get from it is great. As many Lush fans know, sometimes their products have weird textures and that is true of Big. It has chunks of sea salt which once you lather up do dissolve but it’s weird to think of putting that in your hair. But I am hooked on this shampoo. My hair is naturally curly and after two days, I start to get oiliness on my scalp whether I wear it curly or straighten it. With this product, I have been able to go 3 days without washing it and it still looks and feels like it did on day 1. You also don’t need to use a lot of the product for it to lather up. The trick is to apply it to a wet hair, massage it in and then add a bit more water.

TimeBalm Concealer is another product that I got early this year since I ran out of my under eye concealer in my MUFE palette. I purchased this based on a review that Karen did and I was not disappointed. I get such great coverage and the product does not cake up underneath my eyes. A couple months back when I went to Reno and got up at 4am, this concealer helped me look like I had gotten 8 hours of sleep when in reality I probably had 4. And just last week when I got woken up by my freaking smoke detector beeping at 3am, it helped me conceal the dark circles I had since I could not go back to sleep. It’s very creamy and you don’t need a lot of product to get good coverage. I use my ring finger to apply it as it warms up the product as I apply it.
Last but not least is MoroccanOil. I had seen some reviews of this product on YouTube and when I was placing an order on Amazon sometime last year, I purchased it but never used it. it wasn't until recently that I found it in my hair product drawer that I researched it again and started using it on my hair. I use about a pea size drop and warm it up in my hands. I apply it on my hair when it's damp and only to the ends. This oil leaves my hair feeling soft and unlike BioSilk, it doesn't feel like I have product in my hair. Definitely recommend it and I will be repurchasing a bigger size once I run out.
