I can’t believe November is here. It feels like it was just yesterday when I found out I was going to LA for work. Now it’s been three weeks since I have been back. My trip was amazing. I had a chance to catch up with two friends who I haven’t seen in close to ten years. It was like no time had gone by when we met up. We reminisced about our college years together and caught up on what we have been doing for the past couple of years. I realized how much we have all changed and grown up. Before, our lives revolved around partying and having fun and if possible, making it to class on time. Now one of my friends is married with one daughter and the other one is a successful career woman working for the Special Olympics organization. I also had an opportunity to meet Carol Shaw (thanks to Lilan @ the Daily Cookie) who is the creator of LORAC Cosmetics. As a make-up junkie, that was a fun experience.
Last week I booked my ticket to Mexico City for the holidays. I am really excited about spending time with my family. I am looking forward to seeing my grandpa who is 97 years old. I am so lucky to still have him in my life so any chance I get to see him is something that I treasure. I will be there for two weeks and I am already making plans with my family as to what we will do during that time.
My Halloween was very low key. I spent it at my mom’s house. She had minor surgery on her leg last week and has a hard time getting around. I spent the day with her and ran some errands. Not much else is going on with me. I did buy some goodies from the Sephora Friends & Family sale which I will post later. Now, I am on my way to the dentist office. I may need a root canal.
And oh yeah, New Moon comes out in 17 days. Whoo hoo…
