Farmer's Market Day

I love going to the Farmer's Market here in SF. I like the idea of getting up early on Saturday morning and driving to the Ferry Building to shop for fresh produce, flowers & just walking around and enjoying being outdoors. My friend Carole and her husband visited me on Saturday and they had never been to the Farmer's Market so we decided to spend some time there on Saturday.

First stop was Taylor's for lunch. Yummy burgers!
Inside of the Ferry Marketplace. They have several shops and restaurants inside. Farmer's Market
I have never seen a Veggie Valet at any other outdoor market. Basically, once you have finished shopping, you can leave your goodies here so you can continue shopping inside the Market Place. You can "park" your groceries there for free. Pretty neat!
Some tunes to listen to while browsing the different stands
Village Market
Ciao Bella - Crazy good gelato & sorbeto! I had the Lemon Passion Vodka which was very refreshing.
The view from the outside of the ferry building - Bay Bridge
X marks the spot of my neighborhood. Now you know why I am so happy to be living here.

I am hoping (weather permitting) that this will become a Saturday ritual for me.
